With over 10 years of experience leading string duos, trios and quartets for some of the most elegant affairs in New England, Yaeko Miranda Elmaleh was the violinist for "The Knot Magazine" Martha's Vineyard featured wedding in the spring/summer 2011 issue. She is also a preferred vendor for the Boston Public Library events.

Simply stated, she is absolutely wonderful! I recently got married (7/23/11) and hired her for our ceremony and cocktail hour. She was so accomodating and very pleasant to work with. I had requested a unique song for when I walked down the isle and she played it perfectly. "She organized a string quartet and pianist to play during the ceremony, while the string quartet continued playing during the pre-dinner cocktail hour. In short, we were extremely pleased in all respects. First of all, she is incredibly organized. She answered every pre-wedding email promptly, they arrived on time, and she understood the plan for the ceremony and relocation for pre-dinner cocktails then executed it independently. I never once worried that Yaeko would not do what we had planned.Second, she is a beautiful and accomplished violinist. Our processional was a fairly complicated piano piece, the recessional more of a Scottish jig, and during cocktails, they played everything from Mozart to the Beatles. All the music was lovely.......
And finally, she was fair and professional. Unlike most things to do with weddings these days, her prices seemed reasonable for the quality of music we enjoyed.
